Characteristics: Blackish grey with wings that extend past the body. Grow to be 1/2- 1 ¼ inches long
Prefer to live outside where they can feed on plants and soil, but will invade homes and buildings.
Feed on almost anything but prefer field crops; alfalfa, wheat, oats, rye
House Cricket

Characteristics: 3/4 inches long with yellowish body and 3 dark bands on the head.
Lives outdoors but will infest homes and buildings in large numbers.
House crickets are nocturnal and keep hidden during the daytime. They are omnivores and will eat and drink anything; they may chew on and damage silk, woolens, paper, fruits, and vegetables.
